FUNDRAISING:

Assistance League of San Luis Obispo County's target annual budget is $100,000. Our projects are funded entirely by contributions, grants, and fundraising events, and all money raised in this county stays in this county.

Our funds are obtained from:

• Donations by individuals and local service clubs.
• Direct mail fundraising programs, including "Back to School... and some kids don't have clothes!" and "Sock It to 'Em." The latter asks donors to return a child's sock with a donation; the socks are then paired and donated to infants in our local hospitals.
• Grants
• Two fundraising events yearly. A Fashion Show and a Viva La Fiesta party held in the Spring featuring a gourmet dinner, opportunity drawing, silent auction and live entertainment.
