ABOUT US:
Assistance League of San Luis Obispo County has provided vital community services since 1991. Our philanthropic projects are designed to serve unmet needs in our county. We have no paid positions, and our members volunteer their time generously, averaging almost 8,000 hours per year. We can always use more volunteers to help us clothe our community's children in need and help assault victims. Please CONTACT US if you are interested in joining us. We meet on the fourth Tuesday of each month, in the morning. See our newsletter, Chapter Chatter, for meeting locations.
Our programs are funded totally through contributions, grants and fundraising. All contributions are gratefully acknowledged and are fully tax deductible.
MEMBERSHIP:
We welcome new members at any time throughout the year. New members participate in an orientation program acquainting them with all aspects of Assistance League. As a member you will have the following opportunities:
- Service in your own community;
- The enjoyment of working with others toward a shared goal;
- Use and development of your special skills and talents.
Annual dues are only $55 for voting members and $75 for non-voting members.
